Wexler lives in Portland, Oregon, where she enjoys propping her feet up on her St. Bernard while she writes personal essays and reported pieces about travel, food, pop culture, beauty, health, trends, and interesting people of all sorts. For one glorious day this year, her Daily Shouts was the most-read story on the New Yorker‘s website. She holds a B.A. in fiction and an M.F.A. in nonfiction writing, and spent several years on staff as a writer and editor for national magazines in New York City.
